SAD accuses AAP for shielding gangsters, says Punjab’s law and order in free fall

Chandigarh, November 19, 2025: The Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) on Tuesday launched a scathing attack on the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government, alleging that the ruling leadership is patronizing gangsters, leading to a complete breakdown of law and order in Punjab. The party demanded the immediate resignation of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann from the post of Home Minister for “failing to curb violence.”

Addressing the media, senior SAD leader Parmbans Singh Romana said four major firing incidents had taken place in the last 48 hours across Punjab, resulting in four deaths and nearly a dozen injuries.
