Strictly Come Dancing fans have been pleading for a major change to take place this weekend as the show heads to Blackpool for its annual special. It's a staple in the hit BBC One dance show's calendar every series as the Strictly cast and crew pack up their Elstree Studio and head to the seaside town's famous Tower Ballroom.

It is often a goal for the couples to make it through to week nine of the competition every year, before the grand final in just a few weeks' time. And it was during the latest results show on Sunday night (November 16) that the seven couples set to make the jaunt up north were confirmed ahead of the show this Saturday (November 22).
