Kate Winslet appeared on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” on Tuesday night to discuss her directorial debut, but ended up divulging the questionable look she wore to meet King Charles III decades ago.

Harking back to the 1996 premiere of “Sense and Sensibility,” Winslet shared, “The first time I met him. Oh my goodness. He had come to support the royal premiere of ‘Sense and Sensibility’ when I was only 20.”

For the occasion, she wore a totally sheer black lace jumpsuit with flat black sandals and a black coat.

“I sort of hadn’t realized we were really going to meet him. So I forgot about the fact that I really was wearing a kind of transparent lace outfit,” she laughed, adding, “And thank God I’d worn a coat because as he’s making his way towards me, I’m like, ‘Nipples! Nipples! Nipples! Oh, my G
