All Clarkston schools were put in shelter-in-place mode Wednesday according to a message sent to parents.

The order was lifted at 11 a.m., according to a second district message. Both messages were signed by Superintendent Shawn Ryan.

At noon, his all-clear message was released to the media.

“I am happy to report that the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office has given us the “all-clear.” With that said, we have lifted the shelter-in-place order. All of our schools have resumed classes and operations as usual,” Ryan wrote.
