FRANKFORT, Ky. (WSIL) -- Gov. Andy Beshear and the Kentucky State Police are urging Kentuckians to join the annual "Cram the Cruiser" food drive aimed at combating hunger in the commonwealth. The drive runs from Nov. 19 through Dec. 5.
"No family should have to face hunger or worry about where their next meal will come from, especially during the holiday season," Beshear said.
The "Cram the Cruiser" initiative, hosted by all 16 KSP posts, seeks to gather essential food items to support those in need during the holidays. Troopers will be present at various grocery and retail locations statewide to collect non-perishable food donations, including canned goods, pasta, cereals, and more.
