The Mumbai Police has summoned social media influencer Orry , whose real name is Orhan Awatramani, in connection with the Rs 252-crore drugs case, ANI reported. Orry has been asked to appear before the Anti-Narcotics Cell at its Ghatkopar unit at 10 am on Thursday for questioning, the police said.

The case relates to a seizure in March 2024, when authorities recovered 126.14 kg of mephedrone, also known as ‘MD’, from a farm in Sangli district. The seized drugs were valued at around ?252 crore. Following the seizure, Mohammed Salim Mohammed Suhail Shaikh was arrested after being deported from Dubai last month. Shaikh reportedly admitted to organising rave parties across India and abroad that involved celebrities.
