VIRGINIA CITY, Nev. (KOLO) - The Washoe County Sheriff’s Office is investigating more than a dozen vehicle burglaries that occurred in the Virginia City Foothills.
Police say the burglaries occurred in the early morning hours of Tuesday between 1:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m.
Deputies canvassed residential neighborhoods in the area and found more than a dozen cars that had items taken from them.
They say the suspect entered the cars through unlocked doors and attempted to enter dozens more that were secured.
The WCSO believes the suspect involved in the case is driving a newer model white hatchback SUV.
