New Delhi: India’s first Tesla Centre will open to the public on 26 November at Orchid Business Park in Gurugram, Haryana. This is Tesla’s first full centre in the country. Before this, the company had opened two experience centres, one in Mumbai and another in Aerocity, New Delhi, over the past four months.

India became Tesla’s 50th market when the company introduced two versions of the Model Y here. The starting price is Rs 59.89 lakh. Both versions are fully imported from Tesla’s plant in Shanghai. According to data from the Federation of Automobile Dealers Association (FADA), Tesla sold 104 units in India in September and October. These numbers come from the government’s Vahan registration database.
