Drivers can expect to see some travel delays as a large load travels between Innisfail and Scotford, near Fort Saskatchewan, over the next three days.
The load will be travelling at a maximum of 50 kilometres per hour and will be occupying the entire width of the highway, including the shoulder. The load will also occasionally be forced to travel against the flow of traffic with lanes blocked off accordingly.
Drivers are advised to watch for guide vehicles and flag people as the load will be escorted by four vehicles to close intersections. There will be a police escort at times.
The large load departs Innisfail today (November 19), spending most of its time headed north on Highway 761 and west on Highway 11, parking at Rocky Mountain House.
The trucks will then travel northbound tomor
