Struggling Rangers striker Youssef Chermiti is barely worth £1million let alone £9million. ‌

That's the view of Ibrox favourite Nacho Novo , who admits he feels bad for the big money signing. ‌

Gers sporting director Kevin Thelwell splashed the cash to bring the forward in from Everton last summer, despite Chermiti having only previously racked up just three goals in 46 matches in senior football for the Toffees and his first club Sporting Lisbon. ‌

Like his team, Chermiti has failed to hit the ground running this season, finding the net on just one occasion in his first 13 appearances in all competitions.

The youngster however is fully confident in his abilities and recently revealed that he is targeting a place in his country's squad for the World Cup .
