“Will & Grace” actor Eric McCormack and Janet Leigh Holden have finalized their divorce, ending their 26-year marriage, citing irreconcilable differences .

The couple met in 1994 while working on “Lonesome Dove”, where McCormack was an actor and Holden served as an assistant director.

McCormack, 62, filed for an uncontested divorce in the beginning of November, which indicated that they both had reached a written agreement. The filing also noted that the pair waived their rights to a trial, appeal, or motion for a new trial.

McCormack has previously credited his marriage for keeping him grounded despite achieving fame later in his career, the Los Angeles Times reported .
