NEW DELHI: Anmol Bishnoi, the remote commander of the international crime syndicate led by notorious criminal Lawrence Bishnoi, has been remanded in NIA custody for 11 days. Anmol is the brother of Lawrence Bishnoi, who is lodged in Sabarmati Central Jail in Ahmedabad.
Anmol, who was abroad, used to plan and execute the quotations taken by Lawrence. Hence the nickname Remote Commander. He is a notorious criminal who has sought refuge in the country, including shooting dead former Maharashtra minister Baba Siddiqui and issuing death threats against Bollywood actor Salman Khan. Agencies had also found that Anmol has links with terrorist Goldy Brar.
