A Kilmarnock street has been sealed off by police after a pedestrian was hit by a car.
The incident happened on Fowlds Street shortly after 2.30pm on Wednesday, November 19.
The male pedestrian was rushed to hospital. His condition has not been confirmed.
Police say the town centre is extremely busy following the incident and motorists have been advised to avoid the area.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Fowlds Street in Kilmarnock is closed following a collision involving a pedestrian and a car which happened around 2.40pm on Wednesday, 19 November, 2025.
"The male pedestrian was taken to hospital.
"The town centre is extremely busy due to the road closure and motorists are advised to avoid the area."
