COLOMA, Mich. — Construction crews have wrapped up work for the winter on the I-94 rebuild in Berrien County.
The three-year project began in 2024 to rebuild an 8.5-mile stretch of the highway between the Red Arrow Highway interchange and Britain Avenue.
The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) said Wednesday that work on the project is done for the year.
All ramps have reopened and westbound traffic has been shifted onto the newly built lanes. While there are single-lane closures remaining for concrete repair work, all lanes are expected to reopen by Monday, Nov. 24.
