Some five years after having said farewell to the character, Stephen Amell is weighing in on potentially returning as Green Arrow for James Gunn's DC Universe . Amell memorably kicked off the interconnected Arrowverse franchise on The CW with the self-named DC series, leading the charge for eight seasons before sacrificing himself come the series finale, only briefly returning in The Flash season 9 shortly thereafter.
