Rangers’ centennial-inspired Winter Classic uniform officially unveiled

The New York Rangers’ centennial uniform officially has a white counterpart.

The NHL and Fanatics on Wednesday officially unveiled uniforms for the Rangers and Florida Panthers to be worn in the Discover NHL Winter Classic at LoanDepot Park in Miami on Jan. 2, 2026.

The Rangers’ uniform features inverse elements of its centennial uniform, as the club continues its 100th season celebrations. The jersey is off-white and reads “NEW YORK” diagonally across the front, opposite the design of the centennial jersey.

The Rangers’ classic sleeve stripes are bigger, a nod to the game’s setting in a baseball stadium.

One notable addition to the Winter Classic uniform is the red apple patch, the Rangers’ team initials embroidered inside, affixed to the left shoulder. The apple is a reference to a s
