PORT MOODY – A man who committed a violent home invasion to steal cryptocurrency in 2024 has been sentenced to seven years in prison.
Police in Port Moody say Tsz Wing Boaz Chan was arrested and charged after the home invasion in the city on April 27, 2024.
Investigators say Chan’s motive for the violent robbery was stealing cryptocurrency, but police didn’t release details about the victims or the amount taken in the home invasion.
