Srinagar: The Jammu Kashmir Board of School Education (BOSE) Wednesday said that is cancelling the affiliation of four private schools and has fined several private schools for violating prescribed textbook norms.

Addressing a press conference here at Srinagar board headquarters, Joint Secretary BOSE Shahnaz Choudhary said “We have our teams and sub-offices in every district who are dealing and taking care of these matters.”

“They have inspected the schools and whosoever private school was found violating the government norms by prescribing the private publication of books were fined,” she said.

Choudhary added that “We have cancelled the affiliation of four schools that were violating the prescribed norms.”
