JAMESTOWN — The University of Jamestown Men's Basketball team showcased a potent offense and strong rebounding, overwhelming the Bismarck State Mystics for an 85-75 victory at the Harold Newman Arena, moving the Jimmies to a 2-1 record on the season.
The Jimmies came out firing from deep, sinking eight three-pointers in the opening half, led by Anthony Walters and Owen Hektner. Jamestown capitalized on second-chance opportunities, pulling down 15 offensive rebounds to generate 14 points. Despite an early lead change, the Jimmies took control, building a 43-37 lead at the break.
