ROANOKE, Texas — Another North Texas city says it's increased patrols because of feral hog activity and is working on trapping efforts.

The City of Roanoke says the police department and city staff have increased nighttime patrols and are engaging with state agencies and private wildlife contractors to help with trapping efforts. The city said one of the contractors is preparing to begin the trapping process -- including surveying, baiting, and controlled trapping -- as early as next week.
