BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ( WBRC ) - Nothing would make Auburn fans happier than to see their Tigers knock off Alabama and spoil the Crimson Tide’s postseason dreams.
As it turns it, a loss to Auburn would keep Alabama out of the SEC Championship and most likely the College Football Playoff.
After losing 23-21 to Oklahoma Saturday, the Crimson Tide are now 8-2 (6-1 SEC) and can not afford another loss as the season winds down.
In an appearance on Good Day Alabama Tuesday, SEC Network analyst Paul Finebaum said the Tide’s season is now riding on the Iron Bowl in two weeks.
