LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - Louisville Metro Police have made an arrest in a double murder at a Kroger that happened over Derby weekend.
28-year-old Reggie Raheem was taken into custody on two counts of murder related to the May shooting at the Kroger on West Broadway. He was indicted by a Jefferson County Grand Jury on Nov. 18.
It was around 2 a.m. when MetroSafe received 911 calls about a shooting in the parking lot of the Kroger at 28th Street and West Broadway. Louisville Metro police officers say three people were shot. Two victims were taken to UofL Hospital, but died from their injuries.
Raheem is currently in custody at Louisville Metro Department of Corrections on murder charges.
