Sting looking for new coach
The Sarnia Sting continue their search for a new coach after firing Alan Letang.
Letang was let go Saturday with the Sting stuck in ninth place in the Ontario Hockey League’s Western Conference.
General manager Dylan Seca had no update on the coaching search Wednesday.
He also did not say if he’ll be joining assistant coaches Mason Baptista and Brayden Guy behind the bench again this weekend. The Sting visit the Brantford Bulldogs Friday and the Erie Otters Saturday.
Seca filled in as coach last Sunday in a 5-2 loss in Kingston.
The Sting have a 6-11-3-1 record after losing three in a row.
Their next home game is Friday, Nov. 28, against the Soo Greyhounds at Progressive Auto Sales Arena at 7:05 p.m.
