The City of Kingston has been recognized by the Intelligent Community Forum (ICF) with a prestigious international award as being an intelligent community.

In a news release on Tuesday, the Kingston Economic Development Corporation (KEDCO) announced that Kingston was certified as only the third community in Canada — after Durham Region and Winnipeg, Man. — and one of only six municipalities globally to be granted the esteemed honour.
