You'll need the rain gear again by late Thursday and into Friday The mid-week was cool and dreary across Central and Eastern Kentucky in the wake of an area of low pressure that brought wet weather and quite a temperature spread across the commonwealth on Tuesday. After starting out the day rather foggy with reduced visibility, the low clouds hung tough from start to finish. With a light northeast wind in place, afternoon highs generally underperformed with much of the area seeing temperatures topping out in the upper 40s in the Bluegrass with another gradient to the south with low to mid-60s in that part of the state. The low clouds were most prominent across Central Kentucky and managed to squeeze out some nuisance patchy drizzle through the afternoon, which just added to the gloomy day
