IDF Strikes Hezbollah Weapons Storage Facilities in Southern Lebanon

The Israel Defense Forces announced that it carried out a series of airstrikes on Hezbollah weapons depots in southern Lebanon, escalating efforts to prevent the Iran-backed group from rearming. According to the military, the targeted sites in Deir Kifa, Shehour, Tayr Felsay and Aynata were used by Hezbollah’s rocket unit. The IDF said the arms caches were located “in the heart of a civilian population,” calling it further evidence of what it described as Hezbollah’s use of Lebanese civilians as human shields.
