Seattle Mayor-elect Katie Wilson named a director and four co-chairs of her transition team Wednesday, marking her first significant decision since winning the election earlier this month.
The five leaders — Andrés Mantilla, Brian Surratt, Tiffani McCoy, Karen Estevenin and Quynh Pham — include a progressive organizer for publicly owned housing, the first labor figure to back Wilson’s candidacy, an advocate for Little Saigon, and two mainstream political alums of the Jenny Durkan and Ed Murray administrations.
The team is made up of people who’ve long had a hand in city politics and government.
