San Bernardino County Mountains and Riverside County Mountains are the focus of a winter storm watch released at 11:42 a.m. on Wednesday by the National Weather Service. The watch is valid from Thursday 10 a.m. until Saturday Nov. 22, at 10 a.m.

The NWS San Diego CA said, “Snow above 6500 feet expected. Heavy snow possible above 7000 ft. Total snow accumulations up to 5 inches to 10 inches possible, with up to 16 inches at the mountain peaks. Light accumulations will be possible down to 6000 feet.”

“Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. Travel could be very difficult to impossible. The hazardous conditions could impact the Thursday evening and Friday morning commutes,” the NWS said. “Monitor the latest forecasts for updates on this situat
