MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — The Monongalia County Commission worked through a full agenda Wednesday morning, approving new hires, funding allocations and financial requisitions while also hearing updates on food insecurity, employee health insurance and broadband expansion.

The meeting opened with routine business, including 13 exonerations totaling $8,117, minutes from the Nov. 12 meeting, and more than $5 million in vouchers across county funds. County Administrator Renetta McClure noted no budget revisions and said vacancies on county boards and fiduciary orders for Nov. 19 are posted on the county website.
