ALEXANDRIA, La. (KALB) - Alexandria Mayor Jacques Roy (D) is holding a mayoral briefing in the city council chambers, which is scheduled to start at 3:30 p.m.

The mayor’s scheduled remarks will include a report on the State of the City, along with public safety updates and unauthorized uses of residential and commercial properties.

Mayor Roy will also speak to the city’s ‘Reignite’ projects, which include discussing a state-of-the-art Children’s Museum and Learning Center as an anchor project for ‘Reignite.’
