COLUMBIA — South Carolina women's basketball returns home after its first road game of the 2025-26 season.

The No. 2 Gamecocks (4-0) host Winthrop on Nov. 19 (7 p.m. ET, SEC Network) after defeating Southern Cal in Los Angeles for their first ranked win of the season.

This is the third matchup against Winthrop for coach Dawn Staley but the first since 2015. South Carolina is 8-5 overall in the series.

South Carolina sophomore forward Joyce Edwards was named the SEC Player of the Week on Nov. 18. She's sixth in the conference with points per game with 18 and fourth in blocks with 2.3 per game.
