CeeDee Lamb’s decision to have a good time in Sin City may have been the reason behind his benching for the Dallas Cowboys’ opening drive against the Las Vegas Raiders on ‘Monday Night Football.’
Lamb and fellow star wideout George Pickens were both benched for the opening series for reasons unknown. After the Cowboys’ 33-16 road win over the Raiders, head coach Brian Schottenheimer and Lamb both declined to go into specifics.
Per ESPN’s Todd Archer, the only thing Schottenheimer said was, “There were some things that were missed, so had a conversation with those guys and that was easy.” The two stars combined for 14 receptions and 210 yards, with each hauling in one touchdown.
