A second Republican in the Indiana State Senate says he is the victim of a swatting incident that targeted him and his family. The report comes as Senate Republicans have faced national attention, including rebukes from President Donald Trump, after resisting pressure to draw a new congressional map ahead of 2026.
State Sen. Dan Dernulc, R-Highland, said in a statement that local law enforcement officials were quick to recognize that the swatting attempt for what it was: a false report to law enforcement .
