Prime Minister Narendra Modi will travel to Johannesburg on November 21 for the 20th G20 Leaders’ Summit, with the three-day gathering expected to focus heavily on inclusive growth, climate resilience and emerging global challenges.
The meeting, hosted by South Africa, marks the fourth consecutive G20 summit held in the Global South.
Officials said the Prime Minister would articulate India’s views across all three main sessions of the summit. The first session, titled "Inclusive and Sustainable Economic Growth Leaving No One Behind", will deliberate on global trade, development financing and the rising debt burden on vulnerable economies.
