BOSSIER CITY — A blistering offensive pace and stifling defense propelled Bossier Parish Community College to a commanding 113-69 win over the Barksdale Bombers on Tuesday night.

The Cavaliers spread the offense across the lineup, with Drew Cooper and Tony Montgomery each posting 13 points to lead a balanced attack. Dustin Welch followed with 12 points, Zequan Lewis added 11, and Mazi Lumori scored 10. Antonis Kalavros, Drin Tafilaj and Darnell Morris each finished with nine. Tafilaj pulled down a team-high six rebounds, while Yoav Botzer steered the offense efficiently with five assists and just one turnover. Lewis sparked the defensive surge with seven steals.
