D'Amico & Sons is closing in downtown Minneapolis after 30 years in business.
Thursday is the final day for the popular Italian lunch spot, located in Gaviidae Common at 555 Nicollet Mall, a representative for the restaurant confirmed to Bring Me The News on Wednesday. A reason for the closure was not provided.
D'Amico & Sons debuted in 1994 on Hennepin Avenue in Uptown. At its height, there were seven locations across the Twin Cities, but many have closed in recent years.
The original D'Amico & Sons shuttered in 2016. Others followed, including 22-year-old location on St. Paul's Grand Avenue in 2019.
D'Amico & Sons remaining locations in Edina and Golden Valley are expected to remain open.
