BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. (WNDU) - In acknowledgement of Child Safety and Protection Month, the Berrien County Health Department and sheriff’s office are reminding parents of gun safety and gun laws.
Berrien County officials are working to improve gun safety and officials are offering free gun locks to keep children safe.
They are offering the locks on a first-come, first-served basis at Berrien County Health department located at 2149 East Napier Avenue.
The gun locks are available for pickup Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Friday from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. while supplies last.
