Western San Gabriel Mountains/Highway 14 Corridor and Eastern San Gabriel Mountains were placed under a winter storm watch by the National Weather Service on Wednesday at 1:09 p.m. The watch is valid from Thursday 1 p.m. until Saturday Nov. 22, at 10 a.m.

According to the NWS Los Angeles/Oxnard CA , “Heavy wet snow possible. Total snow accumulations up to 8 inches possible above 6000 feet. Winds could gust as high as 40 mph.”

“Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the Thursday evening and Friday morning commutes,” the NWS said. “Monitor the latest forecasts for updates on this situation.”
