Kansas City Chiefs left tackle Josh Simmons returned to action in Sunday's Week 11 matchup against the Denver Broncos, ending his mysterious four-game absence.
Simmons, a rookie first-round draft pick, suddenly left the team hours before kickoff of a Week 6 matchup against the Detroit Lions. The Chiefs provided no details regarding his absence, citing unspecified "personal reasons."
On Wednesday, Simmons spoke to reporters for the first time since his absence.
“I just want to keep it in-house, all due respect,” Simmons said when asked about his absence. “That’s just something I want to keep inside.”
