Central government pensioners can now submit their Digital Life Certificate (DLC), also known as the Jeevan Pramaan Patra, via Aadhaar-based facial authentication using a simple Android smartphone, significantly increasing access to the internet for senior citizens. Pensioners between the ages of 60 and 80 must complete their yearly life certificate by November 30, 2025, either at home or at a local bank or Common Service Centre.

“Pensioners can now easily submit their digital life certificate (Jeevan Pramaan) through face authentication, no need to visit banks or offices. Follow these simple steps and complete it from your smartphone,” r eads an EPFO (Employees' Provident Fund Organisation) post on X (formerly Twitter).
