LAKELAND, Fla. – A deputy-involved shooting broke out in Lakeland on Wednesday, according to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office.

In a release, deputies said the shooting happened along Saturn Street, though the released details about the shooting were scarce.

However, the sheriff’s office confirmed that no deputies were injured, and the suspect involved was transported by first responders.
