A 50-year-old Georgia man was shot dead by police after allegedly killing his teenage stepsons and firing his guns at Harris County deputies.

Kelly Grigsby told officers that she fled to her neighbor’s house with her 5-year-old daughter after her husband, Eric Grigsby, threatened to kill their children Monday night in Midland, roughly 100 miles south of Atlanta.

Police, responding to Kelly’s 911 call, arrived around 7 p.m. to find the suspect walking around the driveway of a dark home with a gun in each hand, the Harris County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement Tuesday.
