FINDLAY, Ohio — The family of a Findlay woman is calling for justice after she was shot and killed last week.

On Friday afternoon, 31-year-old Breanna Gonzales was shot in the head at a home on Queenswood Drive in Findlay in a "reported accidental discharge of a weapon."

Breanna's mother, along with three others in the family, said they're taking the situation day by day. However, they did share some thoughts about the ongoing investigation and some of the circumstances they believe led to Breanna's death.

"I don't want any more so-called accidents to happen," Breanna's mother, Jeniffer Gonzales, said. "I just think that guns are not a household item. It is not a toy, it is something that is very serious."
