ELYRIA, Ohio (WOIO) - Does your family want a flock of roosters or ducks?!

The Friendship Animal Protective League in Elyria said on Nov. 19 that ten roosters surrendered to their care are in need of loving homes.

“We are excited to say that these roosters were surrendered to us, and although all ‘male’ they have lived and coexisted happily together,” FAPL stated. “They would be great additions to any flock of hens looking to add a roo to the crew or if you are willing to take multiple, they have lived together just fine.”

FAPL said their best guess is that this flock includes: Breed Quantity Australorps 5 Bantams 3 Barred Rock 1 young Wyandot mix 1

FAPL said there are also “some really good looking ducks available for adoption!”
