911 calls give a glimpse of what was going on when a transgender TikTok influencer was killed in Lauderdale Lakes on Friday.
Her boyfriend, Shanoyd Whyte Jr., is accused of her murder, and Broward Sheriff’s deputies said he is the one who made the call.
“Please, I need help, please, I need help,” is heard at the start of the emergency call.
The victim, a transgender woman who goes by the name Girlalala, was found shot multiple times in Whyte’s car along Northwest 37th Avenue.
“You better hurry up and get here, hurry up and get here,” Whyte said on the 911 recording, as dispatchers encouraged him to stay on the phone.
