A prison nurse who used her position to funnel contraband for the UK's biggest ever jail smuggling racket was swept into the massive operation after falling in love with a convicted criminal.

Amy Hatfield, a mental health support worker at HMP Lindholme in Doncaster, helped smuggle up to £1 million worth of contraband into the Category C prison after she was wooed by inmate Joseph Whittingham, 36.
