The ALEA State Bureau of Investigation needs help from the public — in a homicide investigation underway in Perry County.

Investigators identified 32 year old Anastassja “Anya” Cooper of Marion — as a person of interest in the case.

Sixty-eight year old Jeffery Holifield was found deceased last week — on the 2000 block of Onrow Tubbs Road.

The SBI is asking for the public’s assistance in locating Cooper for questioning.

She’s described as a white female with brown hair — brown eyes — standing 5 feet 9 inches tall — and weighing about 216 pounds.

Authorities say Cooper may also be in possession of — or travelling with a mixed breed dog named “Banana.”
