NEWBURYPORT — All are invited to a reading of a timely one-act play “Ban the Bans” on Sunday, Nov. 23, at 3 p.m. at the Jabberwocky Book Store’s writers room.

The play was written by Writers for Democratic Action, a national volunteer organization devoted to supporting democracy.
