MOSCOW, Pa. — The 2025 Trojans have played their best season in school history – and they’re still not done.
North Pocono (13-0) earned its first ever PIAA state playoff win against Bishop Shanahan (40-36) to keep their undefeated mark and advance to the state quarterfinals.
“I think that's grit in the eyes of adversity. We said, hey, let's win the game- I think you got your money's worth in watching that game, and we were just thrilled to be a part of it,” said Trojans head coach, Greg Dolhon.
The game with Bishop Shanahan saw six lead changes after the Trojans jumped out to a 21-7 lead in the third quarter. The Eagles had the lead twice in the fourth quarter, but with just 45 seconds left in the game, Cole West willed his way into the endzone for the game winning touchdown.
