ITANAGAR, Nov 19: As part of a three-day training programme organized by the District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA), Capital Itanagar, under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner and DDMA Chairman Toko Babu that commenced today, a total of 50 youths got registered as community volunteers.
The three-day workshop has been designed to equip participants with practical skills and knowledge related to disaster mitigation, emergency response, first aid, evacuation techniques, and coordination during natural and human-made disasters. Experts from 12 National Disaster Response Force, Hollongi and DDMA Master Trainers will conduct hands-on training, demonstrations, and interactive sessions throughout the programme.
